What to expect from a Certified Rocket® teacher!
Devotion and Commitment to self Discovery
Many students and teachers are inspired by the experience of Rocket! From the dynamic classes to the feeling of freedom in our core basic philosophies. Our practice helps create a sense of happiness and acceptance in the world as it changes around us. Rocket teachers find unity in our Rocket® Teachers Collective which is a space where they can be themselves. Rocket supports the differences in all teachers and honors each individual for their strength and supports where there may be weakness.
Ethical Standards
- We use the classical elements of Yama and Niyama as a tool of self observation. We work within the interpretation that reflects towards oneself.
- We support growth and abundance in our fellow yogis of all systems and styles.
- We maintain a respectful manner towards a student just like a friend and a professional manner just like a teacher should.
- We celebrate uniqueness in all students and work from a space of positivity and acceptance. We detach ourselves from expectations on students practice because their practice is theirs and theirs alone.
Teaching Ethics
- Rocket Facilitators do not associate the practice with worldly/political dramas. Our practice is for introspection and detachment.
- Rocket Facilitators do not create division between our yoga and other styles or schools. There is only one yoga.
- Rocket Facilitators view the practitioner as the one who is truly the teacher and they (Rocket Facilitator) as the student. There is no forcing or expectations.
- All students are treated equally and given equal access for the development of their practice.
- Rocket Facilitators maintain a connection with other teachers and communities for mutual support and acknowledgement.
